r00t questions Empty r00t questions

Hello, I posted some of this to the village already.

#1: Roughly what season and level should you be before having a chance at passing the missions that require recompiling? The higher the better, I'm assuming. I'm Season 5 right now and debating looping to 6 or beyond asap if the higher level cap will make a significant difference to my odds. Right now, at Level 56, my Gen. stats for r00t missions are: Lvl 44, Rng 41, Str 13, Suc 2. That's after buying 6 range and 2 each of levels and strength. With these stats I'm rolling about 25 out of 40 right now for the Genjutsu mission.

#2: It seems obvious that having Risky Coffee (+25% core) will expedite the process of recompiling significantly, but Bit-harvesting is going slowly. Are there any fields that are particularly good for Bit-farming? Right now I think I have about 1227 bits out of 10000 needed for the Coffee.

#3: For that matter, which Fields are best for farming Core? I seem to have higher yields from the newer field keys (i.e. various combinations of Hidden, Forbidden, Holy Ground, Core, etc.), but these also have a) events that don't provide Core or Bits such as parts of the Twilight Summon password or b) those missions I can't currently pass.

If anybody has advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

#1: I managed to get the R00t rank in Season 6, so higher season aren't nessessary, since it only allows you to get 2 extra Levels per Season (after Season 5), which can easily be compensated with extra recompile. When I completed the Discords I had a ≈18-30% chance to success (can't remember my stats), so I got lucky here, but I had to do some tries. Every day I used to use my free actions to try for them, then I farmed core, recompiled and tried again next day. Getting Twilight Guardian might improve your chances

#2: If you have the stats I would suggest Field Difficulty 110 to 150 for Bit-farming. Here you have the chance of meeting on Silver Rats which give 150 Bits and Corrupted Trees which gives 250 Bits. The field action "Climb a tree" have the chance of giving 50 Bits.

#3: For Core-farming get K.Y. Lvl. 2 and go for the highest difficulty you can do without failing too much. Using the field action "Scan the horizon" might give you 250 Core without any roll

Thank you for the tips. Just one thing - what determines Field Difficulty level? I assumed it was random, is there a way to set the difficulty you desire?

Every Key has a preset Difficulty. For every field there is an Extra Difficulty that varies between 0-5 and changes at dayroll. The difficulty of a Field is the sum of the difficulties of the Keys used and the Extra Difficulty. That is taken from the wiki. You can find the difficulty of each field key at

I see. I suspected it might be something like that. Thank you, Ainn and Naito. Given that I stand to earn a few trophies the next time I loop, I think I'll work on looping asap and making a concerted attempt on r00t next season. Thanks again.
